All of last week, all of the best barefoot water skiing teams from around the world gathered in Brandenburg, Germany to compete in the 2010 Barefoot Water Ski World Championships. Out of more than 130 athletes representing 15 different countries, I’m thrilled to report that the USA took home gold medals for both the Elite and Junior Barefoot Water Ski teams! Also, the US Senior Team came in a nail-bittingly close second place to Australia’s team, only 67 points behind.

Excellent news for wakeboarding in the US! Wake Nation Cincinnati, one the the premiere locations in the US for cable wakeboarding, has been selected as the location for the final stop of the Monster Energy Wake Park Triple Crown championships.

This September, the America Cup International Fly Fishing Tournament is headed to Frisco, Colorado!

From September 17th-19th, this event will take place in the beautiful Rocky Mountain settings. Teams made up of five people can register starting at 4pm the day before the competition and draw for beats.
